4K a year Menzner Hardwoods is seeking a qualified individual as Sales Representative - Lumber.
This full-time position reports directly to the Director of Sales and works closely with the Purchasing Manager - Lumber having responsibility for all lumber-related selling throughout Menzner Hardwoods.
Job Description:
This position is part of Menzner Hardwoods lumber team.
The successful candidate will use market knowledge, pricing expertise and analytical skills to generate sales that best match customer needs to available supply.
This position will work closely with existing and new lumber customers to meet current and future volume needs in lumber and dimension products.
This key role will drive sales volume, maintain and grow existing accounts, and develop new customers.
This position is headquartered in Marathon, Wisconsin but may work remotely with travel required for position.
Qualifications and Competencies:
Ability to handle complex transactions using data analysis, innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to negotiate and align customer needs and mill production.
Excellent business communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
Strong networking skills with a proven track record in lumber sales.
Requires bachelor's degree in forest products, business administration, sales and marketing, wood technology or related field, or commensurate experience.
3-5 years of experience within sales, export experience in a manufacturing industry is preferred.
Computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Ability to travel up to 30% of time.
All benefits are available on the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment, along with the 401(k)-retirement plan, which has a company match.
Vacation accrual starts on your first day and can be used after 30 days of employment.
Menzner Hardwoods also offers an incentive time off policy which you are eligible for during your first year of employment.
